The key role of the IT Security Team is to ensure a robust and secure Biopolis infrastructure, protected from malicious intent from internal as well as external bodies. The team aims to address a variety of complex threats and to provide security solutions to the Bio-Computing Centre on appropriate protective measures for systems and servers, databases, infrastructure and other IT equipment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Development of the overall systems and network security policies
- Implementation of appropriate systems security measures and procedures
- Investigates abuse, security violations, conducts regular penetration/exploit testing, and inspects code and scripts for loopholes
