Biography
 
Ivana Mihalek moved to Singapore in 2007. She obtained her undergraduate degree in physics from University of Zagreb, Zagreb, Croatia, and degrees in physics (PhD) and computer science (MS) from University of Kentucky, Lexington, Kentucky. In 2001 she started her work in bioinformatics as a postdoctoral researcher at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas.
