7.1 Reaction Kinetics

Cellware has some built-in kinetic rate laws and also provision for declaring user-defined rate laws. The built-in rate laws are the following standard reaction rate laws [6]:

Mass action

Henri-Michaelis-Menton

Competitive Inhibition

Non-Competitive Inhibition

Hills Cooperativity

In addition custom rate laws can also be defined by using the user defined kinetics in the drop down kinetics list as shown in Figure 7-1. After entering the formula, pressing button, set 'Kinetics' will present the unknown parameters in the table on the right. The values of the parameters can then be edited.
