Report window (shown in Figure 4-21) provide detail information for setup, model, and output. The report window is yet another easy way to change initial concentrations, simulation setup and multiple running in background. Click Report window can be saved using File>Save… or save button in the toolbar. The file with extension ‘cwr’ is saved as compact binary format for all information including multiple simulation output results. A report file can be opened through File>Open or open button in the toolbar. Use First portion of the report window is simulation configuration. Simulation environment can select as stochastic, deterministic or both form the first combo box. Depending on the simulation environment selected available solvers are shown in the next combo box. A short description about the solver is shown. Detail simulation parameters such as step size, tolerance, maximum number of iteration, simulation time and number of samples can be changed in the following table. The model section can be use to view and edit the model properties especially initial condition, kinetic parameters. The model is build from the active model workspace window. Model section contains two tables: specie table and reaction table. Each table can be shown or hide. If table is hide minimal information are shown. Table has a table column header containing name of properties. Use popup menu to hide and view the column by right clicking on the table header. In specie table there are ten columns: 1. id, 2. name, 3. initial amount, 4. initial concentration, 5. fix, 6. unit, 7. compartment, 8. volume, 9, boundary and 10 charge. Initial amount and initial concentration are mutually exclusive and a change will reflect in another. If specie is fixed, the concentration or amount does not change during simulation. Setting boundary to true indicates that the concentration is determined by rule. In reaction table there are seven columns: 1. id, 2. name, 3. Equation, 4. Type, 5. Kinetic formula, 6. Parameters, 7. reversible. In this table only name and parameter values can be changed. Simulation result section maintains the result of simulations. Click the run button will start new simulation with condition and setup defined in configuration and model sections. Multiple simulations are permitted and run in parallel. Progress of simulation is shown. Once finished, result can be view as tabulated form or graph. Double clicking the graph will bring up plot window.
