3.3.1 Defining a Species
Single clicking on the species icon in the modelling canvas will pop up the Species Editor panel (Figure 3-3). This panel allows you to modify the species name, species quantity/concentration, unit etc. In addtion, you can include some biological information e.g. full name of the species, notes in this panel. Apart from that, the “link to web” button which is at the bottom of the panel can lead users to online database to get more detailed information.3.3.2 Defining a Reaction
Double click on the reaction node in the modelling canvas and a new window, the Reaction Editor (Figure 3-4) will appear. Modify the reaction stoichiometry in this panel and specify if the reaction is reversible. You may also click on the “kinetics” tab to access and modify the reaction kinetics of the reaction.
